Realtors: How to Get Involved
There have been a number of ways that you and your real estate company could get involved with Open House. Here are a few suggested ways, but we're always open to others:
Sponsor our Oscar Campaign - Help us win an Oscar! Specifically, this would involve paying for "For Your Consideration" ads in the entertainment trade papers (Variety and The Hollywood Reporter) that would promote the film in the Original Musical and Best Song categories, but also include YOUR logo and contact information. Especially for Realtors in L.A. and New York, you'd reach a very affluent home-buying market and stand out in the parts of the magazines that exclude any other real estate advertising.
"Open House" Signs There are a number of places in the film where we'll be shooting "open house" signs, in both montages and featured scenes. The signs can include your company name or logo.
Screen Credit Your company name can be included in the end credits along with all other investors and underwriters (under the heading "This film made possible by the generous support of...").
A Speaking Part There is one scene in particular of a realtor showing a very nice house. We would be happy to cast an actual real estate agent in that part. You'd be able to use your real name, or name tag in the scene, and would be credited in the cast section of the end credits. You would be sharing a scene with some of the lead actors in the film. Walk-On Role You or one of your employees will have the chance to have a non-speaking, walk-on role in the film. This could, for example, be promoted as a company-wide contest, or offered as an incentive to one of your top-selling associates. No longer available.
Bus Bench/Billboard Ads If you already have a bus bench or other billboard ad in the Los Angeles area, there are several opportunities to film it in the background of one of our scenes. If your ads have your name or likeness, this will be an excellent chance to promote your company or franchise.
Press Your company name can be acknowledged in all press kits as one of the companies who helped make the film possible.
Internet Your company name can be listed among the credits on the film's home website as well as Internet Movie Database (IMDB) listing.
Premieres You can be invited to all premieres, film festivals, wrap parties and other associated social events connected with the movie.
Other Product Placement If you have other products that have your company logo or your likeness, we can incorporate those into the production. For example: mugs, tote bags, door hangers, newspaper ads, or sign-up sheets. No longer available. Even individual properties (either interiors or exteriors) could be photographed for the film. Let us know what you need promoted, and we can help you.
