Dan Mirvish (Director/Writer) wrote, directed and produced the indie hit Omaha (the movie) which screened at over 35 international film festivals before Dan single-handedly self-distributed the film in 32 US cities. The DVD was recently released with over a third of million units in circulation. Along the way, Dan co-founded the Slamdance Film Festival, with which he is still very active. Slamdance has been named one of the top ten film festivals in the world by Vanity Fair, E!Entertainment and Film Threat.

Dan has written several studio-level scripts, and his project Stamp & Deliver is set to have Peter Fonda set to star in it, with Neil Young doing the music. Mirvish co-wrote a cheesy erotic thriller called Control, starring Sean Young and William Devane, which was just released on home video. Prior to working in film, Dan was a US Senate speechwriter, and as a journalist has been published in The New York Times, Washington Monthly, Paper Magazine, Brittish Savvy, and Chris Gore's Ultimate Film Festival Survival Guide. He recently wrote the introduction to an independent film book that Harper Collins is releasing in the fall of 2002.

Mirvish is a frequent juror, panelists and guest at various film festivals, events, and national radio & TV shows. He recently taught a UCLA extension class and was a contributing producer to FilmFest DVD. The envy of his struggling filmmaker peers, Mirvish is married to a pediatrician with whom he recently procreated.

Stephen Israel (Executive Producer) is an independent feature producer based in Los Angeles, best known for executive producing the critically acclaimed "Swimming with Sharks."

Having spent four years advising Fortune 100 companies such as Viacom on matters of strategy with the prestigious management consulting firm of BoozoAllen & Hamilton in New York, he became tired of advising, and decided to start doing. After a brief stint at Warner Bros., where he advised on the implementation of new technology in the post-production facilities, he hung up his Brooks Brothers, rolled up his sleeves, and went to work for Roger Corman¹s Concorde Pictures in a variety of capacities, learning all aspects of development and production on a series of film projects.

In 1994 he executive produced "Swimming With Sharks," which starred Kevin Spacey in one of his most villainous roles to date, along with Frank Whaley and Michelle Forbes. Working alongside first-time director George Huang, Israel arranged the financing and oversaw production - including keeping the production going through the infamous Northridge ¹quake which occurred on Day Four of shooting.

Since then, Israel served as Vice President, New Business Development for Turner, where he focused on new media projects, and subsequently as Senior Vice President, Development & Acquisitions for American Cybercast, where he oversaw the development of a new entertainment medium, "webisodics" - or episodic soap operas for the internet. At AmCy, he was responsible for the development of the award winning series "The Pyramid."

Stephen has an extensive business and technology background, having graduated with an MBA from Cornell University, and a BSc in theoretical physics from the University of Durham in England.

Larry Maddox (Writer) has written a number of feature scripts, including several with Dan Mirvish. By day, Larry works as a Los Angeles-based feature film editor. He's cut numerous award-winning and commercially successful films, including Star Maps, God's Lonely Man, From Dusk Til Dawn, III, and Omaha (the movie). Larry has worked as a staff editor at the Sundance Directors' Lab for several years. As a novelist, Larry recently wrote the darkly humorous crime thriller, Cloud Time.

Joe Kraemer (Composer) composed the award-winning score to Chris McQuarrie's The Way of the Gun. After graduating from Boston's prestigious Berklee College of Music, Joe penned music for the TV series Land's End, and contributed a song to the Farrelly Brothers' Kingpin. Subsequent projects included Chris McQuarrie's The Underworld for Warner Brothers Television and the Slamdance features Burn, produced by Bryan Singer, and We Married Margo, directed by J.D. Shapiro. Joe also collaborated with noted film-composer John Ottman on his score for Cruel Intentions. As a singer-songwriter, Joe performs regularly in the Los Angeles area.

Mitchell Rose (Choreographer) had his own dance company in New York for ten years, where The New York Times dubbed him, "the dance world's Woody Allen." Mitchell has since moved to Los Angeles where he has delved into numerous film projects, including the animated short Elevator World (13 festival prizes, including Grand Jury Prize, Best Short, Slamdance 2000) and the 4-part dance film, Modern Daydreams, which features dancers performing with construction machinery, office furniture and gym equipment.

Alex Vendler (Cinematographer) has over a decade of expercience as a cinematographer, working as director of photography and camera operator on a variety of feature films. Alex was nominated for an IFP Spirit Award for his cinematography on Daniel Harris' The Bible and Gun Club (which also won the Grand Jury prize at Slamdance 1997). Alex also shot the Slamdance 2000 Grand Jury winner Good Housekeeping by Frank Novak, which went on to screen at the prestigious Critics' Week section of the Cannes Film Festival. Alex's documentary work includes shooting Nick Broomfield's controversial Kurt & Courtney, as well as directing the Independent Film Channel's filmmaker interview series with New York Times film critic Elvis Mitchell.
